GEKA Brush

Strategy

Customer Orientation

At GEKA, we wish to provide the highest quality products in our field and to supply these products with the greatest value in terms of speed, reliability and cost effectiveness. But more than this, we wish to ensure that our products and our services are perfectly tailored to the needs and requirements of our customers, and in turn the end customer, the consumer.

Profitability and competitive advantage can be gained through state-of-the-art production, advanced technical competence and innovation. We aim to expand on this by forming a partnership of close cooperation with our customers. This involves intensive information exchange developed through working together on design concepts, process requirements, benchmarking of output quality and continuous improvement to arrive at the best possible solutions.

As a development partner of our own customers, we are able to provide the highest delivered value with a steady focus on our customers' needs and inputs. We believe that working as a team with our customer links us to our goal for success in every project, and we approach the complexities of demand for quality by forming an inter-communicative link in the value chain between initial concepts and the end consumer.

Multi-level Involvement

Customer focus requires a completely new approach to everything we do and leads to far-reaching change throughout the organisation. All our business processes must be revised according to our customers' needs and will therefore involve all contributors from the very beginning of a new task. Involvement then becomes multileveled, being firstly internal amongst our own staff and technical experts, while expanding externally to include not only our customers, but also our strategic business partners and our suppliers.

Internally, managers and technical advisers give employees a clear definition of the connection between each task and the customers' ideals. GEKA staff are viewed as 'internal customers' to be provided with all that is needed in the way of information and process guidance. They then form quality management teams to enable the best personal contribution of each member. Externally, strategic partners are consulted and geared for the inclusion of their own specialised functions. Similarly, our suppliers have a significant impact with the raw materials and bought in items they provide. By understanding our suppliers' processes and potential we are able to ensure that the inputs they provide are most suitably matched to our customers' requirements.

World Class Manufacturing

It is through progressive improvement of our products, personnel and services that we aim to provide total satisfaction and marketing success for our customers. GEKA's strategy of providing World Class Manufacturing aims toward continual and rapid advances in quality control, cost effectiveness, lead time reduction and customer service. Above all, it aims for remarkable flexibility to keep pace with international developments and changes in consumer demands through efficient adaptation of the manufacturing process.
