Innovationshow New York 2007

In September Geka-Toly USA held its fourth annual Private Innovation Show in New York City. Previously the Innovation Show was held at a New York hotel. For 2008, the event moved to a new location, Splashlight Studios. Splashlight is a photography and fashion studio more reflecting the exciting “Hollywood” theme created under the design direction of Yvette Mahon.

Another advantage for the Splashlight location was its close location to the HBA Show, held over the same days at the Jacob Javits Center. This allowed our invited guests to attend both the Geka-Toly Innovation Show and HBA in one convenient day.

The centrepiece of this year’s show was the presence of Michele Burke. A two-time Academy Award winning Make-up Artist, Michele travelled to New York from California where she works daily with the biggest names in Hollywood. She created live application demonstrations for individual customers using the newest and most innovative Geka products.

Also joining the show this year was Dr. Christina Zech of Schwan-STABILO Cosmetics. Dr. Zech provided expert advice regarding formulation and the interaction of product and packaging. Combined, Michele Burke and Dr. Zech created a convincing setting for the many guests.

Large attendance from each invited group and the attentive reaction to the individual presentations convinced all that the 2008 Innovation Show was the most successful yet.
