The employees’ identification with the company and its products is certainly a goal every company aims for. At GEKA, this aim is brought into action. Last year GEKA offered a trip to the Cosmoprof Show in Bologna (Italy) and this year the trip travelled to Paris.
Organized by GEKA, these trips to visit the key exhibitions for the cosmetic industry offers its employees the opportunity to understand “live” how the company presents itself to the market. They are able to see the environment around GEKA BRUSH, its customers, competitors and suppliers.
The feedback from last year and this year was amazing. In 2006 approximately 30 people registered for Bologna, while this year around 50 people took the trip to Paris from the 1st to the 3rd of October.
After an exhausting night on the bus, the group was directed to Cosmeeting. There they had the opportunity to disconnect from the group and collect their individual impressions. The day finished with a very nice French dinner.
The next day was a planned sightseeing tour through Paris. The most important tourist features were visits to the Louvre, Champs Elysee and the Eiffel Tower. The conclusion of the trip was nicely rounded off by a romantic boat trip on the Seine. After that, the group returned to Germany, hopefully more aware of the environment in which GEKA operates.
