Partnership with Schwan Cosmetics

Schwan cosmetics has made an impressive development with innovative textures for cosmetic pens, eyeliners, lip care and mascara.

At first, our business relationship consisted in solely delivering mascara packaging whenever Schwan cosmetics had special requests. Due to a more intensive exchange of ideas, we both realized the significance and benefits of a partnership.

Schwan cosmetics carried out extensive tests and we supplied abundant brush samples until we found a perfectly matching set of applicator and defined mascara texture.

At first, the Schwan sales team presented this complete offer only to selected customers.

Encouraged by the cosmetic customers' positive acceptance of this full-service offer, we joined Schwan in looking for a concept for targeted marketing which would be of use to both companies.

Reciprocal visits and meetings ensured that the partners familiarized themselves with the expertise of the other market and customer information was exchanged and finally a matching sales concept was formed which defined target and preferred customers.

This work was completed before the Bologna 2006 trade fair in April so that both partners could start introducing their partnership and bottled packaging to the main customers.
In the meantime, interest levels, concrete requests and order volume are exceeding our expectations.

Further projects for consolidating the cooperation have been discussed and are now in the implementation phase.

In November, Schwan cosmetics and GEKA BRUSH will present in tandem at the "Intercharm" fair in Moscow and explore business opportunities in Eastern Europe.
