Results of work groups' improvements

Along with the advisers of Wassermann AG, we started an initiative entitled "Profitables Wachstum" ("Profitable Growth") in November 2005.

Executives and employees from various sections of the company got together voluntarily during their working time and also in their free time to work on selected topics.

The groups were able to methodically narrow down topics, make plans, check alternatives and compile proposals for solutions. All this took place in constructive discussions within the groups. Presentations were given to the management board, as well as to the other groups.

This resulted in a positive outcome to improve the current situation through new approaches. Another benefit was the experience of representing one's own opinion within the group and admitting and incorporating other people's points of views.

This experience of combining various points of view and experiences to come up with new, improved solutions, and the ability to put an end to unsatisfactory situations and find a new beginning, created a sense of intensive solidarity and a successful collaboration.

During the company workshop, the groups dealt with topics regarding organizational structures, team meetings, as well as the qualitative improvement of certain processes, production start-up and IT.

The executives' working groups dealt with questions regarding effective and sound leadership; they addressed the new organization of our quality control, identification of customer potential, improvements of the project management, more effective allocation of resources to certain key focus areas, as well as avoiding waste.
