After the extraordinarily successful years of 2004 and 2005, the Victoria team has had to consolidate the high level of sales during the current fiscal year and to soften anticipated pricing pressures.
The company planned for € 11,355 million sales in 2006, approximately the same as 2005.
Prior notice of customer demands for reduction in prices and targeted competitor campaigns resulted in a more conservative planning of results.
The development of trade to date confirms the estimated rate of the volume of sales. Since the material usage quote did not increase quite as strongly as anticipated, the results exceed the expectations.
The Victoria team's main focus is on the discovery of new opportunities: after all, with new and creative offers we will resist demands for price reductions, at least temporarily.
Increased contact with current and potential customers has led to some promising requests which are currently being processed.
For the business year 2007, the Victoria team is hoping for some more important impulses from the two remaining trade shows in Paris and Monaco.
